1. Rules of Connah's Quay Tigers - The Clwyd Footbal League is our parent league and as such Connah's Quay Tigers are affiliated to this league and the North Wales Coast Football League.The Club Constitution and the rule books of firstly the Clwyd League and then those of the North Wales Coast Football League apply.
2. Selection of Players - the selection of players for games will be the sole responsibility of the relative Team Manager.
3. Eligibility of Players - A Player will only be eligible for squad/team selection if he/she meets the age criteria set down by the League management Committee and his/her Club subscription fee has been paid as set dwon in Club Rule No.4. Players are NOT eligible to play for their team in a match , if they do not attend the traiing session in the week prior to the match, without a valid reason; if a health problem is the reason, the player must prove him/herself fit at training, prior to the match.
4. Payment of Player Subscription Fee - A player will only be eligible for squad.team selection on payment of the Subscription Fee set by the Committee and agreed at the AGM, by the following method:
a) Full payment prior to the first match of the season
AND
b) The payment of a weekly sum, as set by the Committee and
agreed at the AGM, is paid for training facilities as part of the registration
to be paid, whether attending training or not.
c) If behind with this payment for 3 weeks, they are ineligible to play in any
matches for the club until they are up to date. All managers must police the
payments as laid down by the Committee as applicable.
d) Any player who leaves the Club in mid-season, (and the manager agrees),
is not entitled to any refund of the registration fees up to that time.
5. Substitutes - As per the relevant rules of the respective league involved.
6. The Club - Will operate teams in any age group.
CLUB CONSTITUTION
7. Constitution - See Rule 1.
8. The Committee - Will consist of Officers, every Manager and Representatives of each team, the numbrs of which will be decided at the AGM.
9. Election of Committee Members and Officials - Will take place at the Annual General Meeting.
10. Committee Meetings - Will be held on the second Sunday of every month.
11. The Quorum - For all Committee meetings will be one quarter of the total number agreed at rule six.
12. Committee Responsibilities - The Committee will manage all affairs of the Club. The discipline of the Players will remain the responsibility of the Team Managers; however in exceptional circumstances the Committee may review disciplinary matters.
13. Cessation of the Club - Should the Club cease to exist in its entirety, any funds remaining at the time will be equally divided among all registered Players
14. Disposal of Kit and Equipment - will be determined by the Committee at that time.
15. Discipline - It will be the responsibility of the Team Managers to ensure that the following guide lines are adhered to at all times.
a) Any costs incurred by the Club due to misconduct/misdemeanours by any Player(s) must be fully reimbursed to the Club before the offending Player(s) can be eligible for selection for their respective teams.
b) A player can only be banned from playing or training by the Committee however, at their discretion, managers may suspend a player but the matter must be brought before the Committee at the earliest opportunity.
c) All Club Members will conduct themselves in a correct and proper manner at all times when representing the Club.
d) Any spectators found to be acting in a manner not conductive with the organization of Junior Soccer, will be disciplined by the Committee.
16. Insurance - The Club will provide Civil Liability Insurance free of charge throughout each calendar year.
17. Club Trophies - The Club will provide trophies free of charge in specific categories listed below for all age groups. In addition, all non-trophy winners will receive a commemorative trophy, and the Tony Trussell Memorial Shield will be awarded to an individual, who in the opinion of the Committee has made an outstanding contribution tot eh sucess of the Club during the foregoing year. All trophy winners, with the exception of the Tony Trussell Memorial Shield and the Loyalty Trophies will be solely selected by the respective Managers.

Loyalty Trophy - This trophy is awarded to the players who have made
themselves available for selection each season for six (6) consecutive years.
The following trophies are awarded to both mini soccer and senior soccer age groups:-
Attitude Trophy - This trophy should be voted for by the Committee based on Managers recommendations.
Club Player of the Year - This award does not necessarily have to be given to a player who has already been awarded a trophy, and will be decided between all Managers. The criteria for selection for this trophy is that the player selected is the best football player in the club and that all Managers must have been present at a number of games so as to be ablle to assess all the candidates for this award.
N.B. The Players Player voting is NOT to be conducted until after all the other trophy winners names have been handed in to the Committee.
18. Player Registration - Registration of all new players, at any time during the season, must be made via the Secretary. This also applies to de-registrations.
19. Police Checks - All Committee Members and Managers are police checked and have attended a Welfare course to work with children.
20. The 200 Club - The Club will raise additional funds by running a 200 club with the following rules: On registration, every player automatically becomes a member of the 200 club. On becoming a member of the 200 club, every player is to pay £2 a month to their Manager.
Managers are to facilitate the collection of his/her teams 200 club subs as agreed by him/her and players (i.e. monthly/weekly). The draw will take place on the second Sunday of the month and would consist of half of all monies collected that month. There will ba 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes. If any players number was drawn and the full £2 has not been paid the prize would be paid pro-rata (i.e. if only half the £2 had been paid in then only half the prize amount for that prize would be paid out). If a players numbr was drawn and the player had not paid anything then the prize would be re-drawn.
